Installing WKO+

Quick Start installation

  • This is a one machine license. If you require the software on more than one machine or a 2nd computer, each additional license is 50% off retail price,

  • Be sure to install on the computer that you will download your training device to. WKO+ can only be installed on one machine.

Once you have the application downloaded, double click on the icon to launch the install program.

Continue to follow the prompts and instructions as they appear in the install program.

Once the installation process is done, you have the option to launch the new Data Migration tool, If you wish to transfer your older files from a different computer for from a version of the software previous to WKO+ v2.1 into the newly installed WKO+, be sure to check the box in the center of the screen, then click exit to begin migration of your old data. IF YOU ARE NOT MOVING DATA FROM A DIFFERENT COMPUTER OR FROM A VERSION OLDER THAN WKO+2.1, DO NOT RUN THE MIGRATION TOOL!

Otherwise, un-check the Launch box, click Exit,and follow the next prompt. Click Yes to Launch WKO+


To use the new Data Migration tool, follow these steps: 1) Enter your previous Data Source Folder, Go ahead and back up your DATA folder within the previous version of the software, copy that out to a U USB drive or an external hard drive (a cd will not work) and then delete your old program.

2) You can not change the default directory in WKO+, it has to stay the way the default is.

Updating to the Latest Version of WKO+

To get the latest Build of WKO+, go to: http://www.cyclingpeakssoftware.com/products/downloadfiles.asp

There, you will be able to download the latest build of Version 2.2 (make sure to select Save, not Run, if you have an option). Make sure that no other software that talks to your downloadable training devices is open, including your current version of WKO+, then install it. No need to uninstall or use the Migration Tool just install it right over top of your existing copy to the same directory and all your data will be safe.

Please note that there is a new feature built in to the Help tab in WKO+ that will let you check for the latest version.
