• The Microsoft HealthVault is an online platform for storing and sharing health related data. Developed by Microsoft such that other third party providers, like Peaksware, can build useful applications on top of their online storage system.

• TrainingPeaks is compatible with HealthVault. This means that once you link your TrainingPeaks account with the HealthVault, you are able to synchronize data into and out of the HealthVault. You'll be able to keep a permanent record of your data, and share it with others like doctors and other health applications.

Using HealthVault with TrainingPeaks

• To link your TrainingPeaks account to HealthVault, login, then under Preferences you will find a link "Microsoft HealthVault". This will walk you through the steps of linking your TrainingPeaks account to the HealthVault.

• Once it is linked, a "Sync" icon will appear in the upper right corner while logged in to TrainingPeaks. Clicking this link will perform the data sync to the HealthVault.

• Only logged "summary" data is synced to the HealthVault. Time-series data files from devices are not sent to HealthVault. However, TrainingPeaks can read data files out of the HealthVault and save them in your TrainingPeaks account.
