Private Messages

Private Messages are like simple emails you and another TrainingPeaks user (who may be your coach, if you have one, or someone you wish to communicate with privately that you met on the TrainingPeaks Message Boards). You have a private Inbox to view new messages, and a Sent Items folder to view past messages that you've sent. It's a simple system meant to give you another means of communicating with other TrainingPeaks users (including your coach, if you have one).

Please note that the Private Messages are contained entirely inside the TrainingPeaks system. So, when you send a Private Message, it sits in your Outbox until the next time the person you are sending it to logs in to their account; once the receiving user logs in, the Private Message is transfered to their account. We have this function setup in this manner so that the sender can keep track of the status of the Message.
