My Routes: Mapping, Sorting, and Comparing

The “My Routes” feature lets you group workouts together as routes enabling you to compare your efforts over the same course, sort the routes by distance, name etc. and, in times when you don’t have a GPS device with you, you can even build a route map using our Course Creator. The My Routes section makes it fun to compare all your workouts, with and without a GPS device.

You’ll find the My Routes main page under Preferences, My Routes:

Working with Routes

The simplest way to create a route, is to use an existing workout that has an uploaded GPS file. While you can use any workout, with or without a GPS file, it makes it more fun to see your actual course on the interactive map, so, we’ll start there. After uploading your GPS file, you can see on the [Daily Log] (Training drop-down menu > Daily Log) the “Routes” drop down menu.

Simply click the “Create route from this workout” link and you’ll have a new route created that you can edit and save. You can now edit your new route as shown below:

Clicking “Submit” will save this as a new route. From now on, anytime you do a workout, and select this route on the Daily Log, your workout will be grouped to this route. This makes it easy to see what your workouts look like, review total mileage and time, and easily go back to those days when you did these workouts. Below is the main “My Routes” page, note that it shows you how many times you’ve saved a workout as this route. Also note that the page can be sorted by the column headers, and, depending on the speed of your internet connection, you may want to turn off the mapping.
